Steve Anton

Trustee

Steve arrived in Liverpool in the early 1990s, after working in legal practices in the Midlands, having gained a Master’s Degree in Criminology from Keele University. Steve volunteered at the Citizens Advice office in Speke before joining the Toxteth office as deputy manager. He worked at the Toxteth office for five years before joining National Citizens Advice, as a development officer, where he quickly became involved in the early development of IT systems.

Over the next twenty years, Steve would become involved in the development of case management and information systems that are largely in use today. After taking voluntary redundancy from National Citizens Advice, he worked for a short while as an IT consultant before retiring and joining the Citizens Advice Liverpool Board of Trustees.

Steve does some voluntary work in a local park on the Wirral, and enjoys the Lake District and walking.
