Governance

LATAN has a Terms of Reference that sets out the aims, membership structure and governance details for the Network.

LATAN is currently governed by an interim Committee of representatives from 8 network member organisations, and an Independent Chair. Meeting monthly, the LATAN Committee share their knowledge, skills, and a commitment to working collaboratively, to ensure the Network is effective and working to its aims.

As LATAN isn’t a separate legal entity, it has an accountable body that can enter into contracts on behalf of LATAN. The accountable body is Citizens Advice Liverpool, who employ staff on behalf of the Network, provide equipment and space for staff to work, manage LATAN finances, and provide a range of support on practical things like IT, marketing and communications.
