University of Liverpool, Research Outputs
The School of Law and Social Justice, and Department of Public Health, Policy and Systems at the University of Liverpool are leading on the Access to Justice research in the project. The research is exploring the impact of the legal aid and other austerity related cuts, welfare rights reforms and Covid-19 on access to free legal advice in Liverpool. Our mapping exercise and interviews with public, private and not-for-profit/third sector providers will provide a strong evidence base of the social impact of limited free legal advice, which will support long term decision making and challenge policy decisions in relation to access to justice.
